The İstanbul Kültür University Faculty of Art and Design was established with the Decree Law No. 24409 published in the Official Gazette on May 22, 2001. The Department of Cartoon and Animation was decided to be established and admit students with a Special Talent Exam with the letter dated April 28, 2016

In order to apply to the Department of Cartoon and Animation, students must have scored 150 in any of the YGS score types. The Department of Cartoon and Animation, which accepting students with Special Talent Exam, educates competent individuals.
