The virtual reality film titled “Ak Ana-Deniz Kabuğunun Hafızası” (White Mother- The Memory of Sea Shell) Lecturer Özgül Gürbüz, one of the academics of Istanbul Kültür University, the Department of Cartoon and Animation, has been qualified to participate the “Cannes XR” of the Cannes Festival, by being in the first 6 among more than 50 projects. The film will be introduced to audience and presented to the juries between July 6-10 2021, at “Marche du Film” exposition.
